The Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) Program admits a cohort of approximately 16-20 students to begin the program each fall. Admission to the SAHE program at Texas State University requires the submission of application materials and an in-person interview.

SAHE Program Open House

Are you in interested in a Career in Student Affairs? Each fall we host an open house on campus at Texas State University for prospective students to learn more about careers in student affairs and about the SAHE Program.

During the open house prospective students can:

  • learn about the field,
  • connect with faculty, professionals, and current students,
  • develop skills to help advance to graduate school, and
  • participate in an etiquette lunch.

The Fall 2018 open house, Pathways to the Profession, will take place Friday, November 2, 2018 at Texas State University in San Marcos.  Please click here or on the invitation below to learn more about the event and to register for the event.

Virtual Information Session

Join us virtually! Each fall the Student Affairs in Higher Education master's program hosts a virtual information session online for prospective students to learn more about the program. Topics covered include: program distinctiveness and components, assistantship and internship opportunities, and the admissions process. There is also time for Questions & Answers with faculty and current students.

The Fall 2018 virtual info session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 4-5pm Central Time.  To register for the virtual info session please click here or on the invitation to the right.  If you are unable to attend the session but would like access to the archived session please email and we will be sure to reach out to you with the link to the session once it is complete.
