I study the magnetic properties of material. My main interest is to better understand the magnetic susceptibility of soft magnetic composites used in making printable electronics including 3D printed transformers (in collaboration with Dr. Jitendra Tate's group in manufacturing engineering and Dr. Maggie Chen). I'm also studying the magnetic properties of Fe doped epitaxial Ga2O3 thin films (in collaboration with Dr. Ravi Droopad's group in electrical engineering). Ga2O3 is a ultrawide bandgap semiconductor. The Fe doped Ga2O3 is a diluted magnetic semiconductor that might find application in novel spintronic devices.
