US 1100 Waiver Information

Waiver Consideration

Academically prepared students new to Texas State who enter with 24 or more hours of transferable (credit-bearing, non-vocational) coursework with at least a 2.25 GPA prior to their first semester at Texas State may elect to waive the US 1100 graduation requirement. Students may need to take an additional hour of coursework to meet the required number of hours for graduation. To request a waiver of the US 1100 requirement, students should fill out the online form.

If Texas State does not have all your transferable coursework to demonstrate that you have met the requirements, please send your final community college transcript (or other college transcript) to Texas State’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions

If you do not meet the requirements but have exceptional circumstances you would like to have considered (e.g., military service), you may contact our office for further information us1100program@txstate.edu
