Teaching Requirements

Applicants must have a minimum of a master's degree.

Payment

Faculty are paid a $1,800 stipend for each US 1100 section taught. The stipend is divided into four equal payments in the fall (October 1, November 1, December 1, and January 1) and five equal payments in the spring (February 1, March 1, April 1, May 1, and June 1).

Spring Sections

Fewer sections of US 1100 are offered in the spring. Because the number of sections is limited, everyone who applies may not be scheduled to teach. Spring sections are offered first to those with at least two fall semesters of prior experience teaching US 1100.

Application: Current Staff Members Who Have Taught At Texas State University

Application: Current Staff Members And Have Never Taught At Texas State University

Application: Not Affiliated With Texas State University Or Have Been Per Course Faculty But Have Not Taught In Over a Year

Application: Doctoral Students Who Have Been Directed By Their Program To Apply

Interning Requirements

Payment

Interns are paid a $650 stipend that will be awarded after the internship is complete.
