Departmental Faculty and Staff

Our 21 full-time faculty members offer a wide variety of courses and projects to support our departmental mission and educational goals, including local research projects or in-country and out-of-country field schools.

All faculty members in the department are actively involved in research and other scholarly activities including fieldwork in the United States, Mexico, Belize, Peru, Madagascar, and the Republic of South Africa.

The Anthropology Department has been honored to work with numerous outstanding faculty members over the years.  While they may no longer be a part of the department, they are certainly not forgotten.

Our undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students have gone on to have incredible careers spanning various industries including: public agencies at the local, state and federal levels; exciting careers in the business sector; they have worked for and led nonprofits and community-based organizations; and thrived in various academic positions.  We are extremely proud of all of our Anthropology graduates and are honored to have had the opportunity to mentor them.
