Anthropology Poster Printing Request Form

Use the form below to request poster prints.  Be sure to read all information carefully.

Anthropology Poster Printing Policy 1.12.24

We estimate that each poster will cost a minimum of $20 to print so there is a limit to how many we can print per year.

Printing Priority

  • One conference poster for each faculty member and student (undergraduate and graduate) per academic year. Any additional posters require permission from the chair and will be printed depending on available funds.
  • The department will print posters for all participants in the department student research conference (even if a student has had one printed for a different research conference).
  • Posters for promotional events and department billboards require permission from the chair.
  • Posters for classes require permission from the chair.

Printing Procedures

  1. Requestors MUST format posters to the exact dimensions needed before submitting them to print. The office IS NOT responsible for formatting posters. The maximum poster height is 44 inches and file formats are limited to PowerPoint or PDF.
  2. Submit the print request form below a minimum of one week in advance, however during high demand times (before major conferences) we ask people to submit two weeks in advance
  3. Posters will be printed first on 8 ½ x 11 or legal paper to be approved by the faculty member requesting the poster, or to be approved by the faculty advisor and student, if a graduate or undergraduate student is the requester. The proof needs to be approved within two working days.
  4. Once the proof is approved the poster will be printed and the requester will be notified to pick it up in the department office during normal office hours M-F 8:00-5:00.
  5. Poster printing will only be done during regular business hours and will not be done during university holidays or energy conservation days.

Please see Chair for departmental approval.
