Residential Junior Summer Math Camp Application

This is the online application form for the 2017 JSMC Residential Program from June 4 - June 16, 2017.  This program is for select 6th-8th grade students, and we accept a maximum of 40 students.  In accordance with Texas State University residential life guidelines, students must currently be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.

We accept applications until April 15.  However, we do admissions on a rolling basis, and our program often fills up before the application deadline.  We highly encourage students to send in all their application materials before the end of February.

Your application is not complete until we receive:

1.  Essay - (Required) Upload an essay with this application.  See details below. 

2.  Transcript or Latest Report Card - (Required) Upload your transcript or latest report card with this application. 

3.  Teacher Recommendation - (Required) Direct your recommending teacher to this webpage).  Your teacher must complete the form and upload a letter.

Application Essay

  2. Describe any extra mathematics activities in which you have participated.

Financial Aid

​Mathworks offers a limited number of need-based scholarships for our programs. To be considered for a scholarship, please be sure to fill out the Financial Aid section and submit your application prior to March 15. 

  • RESIDENTIAL Program Cost: $1,600.

The information in all the fields below is required to be considered for financial assistance.  If you are not seeking financial assistance, simply put "N/A" in each field.
