University Policy on Classifed Research

Texas State University – San Marcos does not conduct classified research on any of its campuses.  This does NOT exclude faculty of Texas State University – San Marcos from seeking security clearances and/or pursuing and conducting classified research on other premises.  If administration of a grant is through Texas State University’s Office of Sponsored Programs, Texas State-San-Marcos may pay for the cost of the security clearance check.  Investigators are strongly encouraged to contact the Office of Sponsored Programs for assistance and guidance in these matters.
