On Campus Resources
Office of Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is a strong advocate for inclusion and access to students with disabilities. Staff are available to provide support and answer any questions. ODS works to ensure equal access is available to all students.
Disabled veterans are exempt from paying permit fees but still must register their vehicle with Parking Services. Disabled Veterans with DV plates are allowed to park in any Accessible Parking Space on campus.
Career Services empowers the diverse Texas State community to develop their full potential and enhance their personal excellence and professional marketability by providing strategic career guidance and opportunities to connect with employers worldwide.
Attorney for Students
The Office of the Attorney for Students counsels students on lease reviews, criminal law, family law, employment law, consumer and civil matters, contract law, simple wills, and name and gender marker changes. The office will refer students to outside agencies or private attorneys concerning legal issues for which we cannot provide assistance.
Counseling Center services are free, confidential, and provided by trained professionals to currently enrolled Texas State students while classes are in session.
Counseling Center Services include brief individual, group, and couples counseling, consultation and crisis response, and workshops about coping with stress and other mental health topics.
