Greek Affairs

The Greek Affairs office is the home of 33 organizations and over 1450 students who have decided to "Go Greek." Students involved in the Greek community learn traditions, gain leadership skills, and serve the university and the community. The Greek Affairs office can provide students with information on registered Texas State sororities and fraternities.

Intercollegiate Athletics

The Texas State Athletics Department is home to eight athletic facilities where Texas State students can enjoy sporting events such as Bobcat football, basketball, volleyball, and more. Current students with identification gain free admission to home games.

KTSW—The Other Side of Radio (89.9 FM)

89.9 KTSW is the official Texas State University radio station. 89.9 is broadcast live and can be heard on the web through live and mobile streaming as well as on television through Grande Cable Channel 19 and Time Werner Cable Channel 16.

LBJ Student Center
Named after Texas State University’s most prominent alumnus, the LBJ Student Center provides services and programming that enhance students’ academic experience and sense of community. It is home to numerous student support programs and services such as Campus Activities and Student Organizations, Multicultural Student Affairs, the Leadership Office, and Career Services. The Lair, Georges, and Starbucks are also housed in the LBJSC.

Student Government

Student Government is the student voice at Texas State. The senate consists of sixty senators that represent the on-campus, off-campus and academic college constituency.

The Student Volunteer Connection (SVC) provides Texas State students with many volunteer opportunities on and off campus such as Bobcat Build, San Marcos River Clean-up and volunteer positions at the Special Olympics.

University Star
