The ATI TEAS is administered by appointment only (see Testing Times below).

Note: Appointments cannot be made more than one month in advance.

Please be aware that computer technology is still imperfect, and occasionally technical difficulties may cause delays in any part of the process, especially related to computer-based tests. Therefore, we suggest that if your test has a deadline, that you take it sufficiently early to allow for scores to be received in time if such difficulties should occur. The Testing Center strives to ensure that tests are administered, scored, and reported accurately, securely, and in as timely a manner as possible, but we cannot be responsible for your deadlines.

If you are taking the ATI TEAS for admission to the Texas State School of Nursing, click here to see their web page about the test.

Testing with Accommodations

Students with disabilities who may require accommodations (alternative format, reader service, extended time, etc.) must contact the Office of Disability Services (512.245.3451) prior to taking the test. Verification of disability will be required.

All examinees who require accommodations must complete an Accommodated Testing Request Form to test at our facility at least two weeks prior to the desired exam date. Requests will be processed within two business days. Please note our testing lab hours and available start times for the exam you wish to take when selecting your appointment time and make sure to take into account additional time you may need.

ID Requirement

A valid, current photo ID issued by the state of Texas (driver’s license or state ID) or the United States (passport, military ID, permanent resident card, etc.) is required.

Taking the ATI TEAS will involve payment of two fees combined into one online payment.  The payment will include the ATI TEAS test fee, currently $58.00, and the testing center's $60.00 administration fee, for a total of $118.00.  Both fees are subject to change.
Note:  TEMC cannot provide refunds for any fees or other payments beyond one week from the date of payment.

After you request an appointment (using the link at the bottom of this page), you will receive an email response within 2 business days. If the date and/or time you request is not available, you will be offered an opportunity to select a different appointment. Otherwise you will get an email confirming your appointment, which will also include a link to an online payment page where you can pay the $118 fee. Your appointment is not set until you receive the confirmation.

To contact ATI for additional ATI TEAS information, you can email them at or call 800.667.7531.

If you want to release your ATI TEAS scores to other institutions besides Texas State University's St. David's School of Nursing, you will need to log in to your personal account at on your own computer after you have completed the exam.  University policy prohibits making credit card payments from any Texas State University computers.  The fee for each additional score report is currently $27.  This fee is paid directly to ATI, and is also subject to change at their prerogative.

Note: Appointments cannot be made more than one month in advance, and you may make only one appointment at a time.  To cancel or change an appointment, reply to the confirmation email with your request a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

We strongly recommend testing early.  December and January appointments fill up quickly.   Punctuality is important during this busy time.  If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may lose your appointment.
