Welcome to the Concrete Industry Management Program!

The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program is an innovative, hands-on learning program that provides students with access to build things that last, set goals and complete them and can provide career advancement opportunities.

What scholarships are available?

The CIM program provides scholarships specific to all CIM students, including freshman and transfer students! Scholarships are annual and range from $1,500 to $5,000. A few scholarships to keep in mind are:

  • The National Steering Committee
  • American Concrete Institute - San Antonio Chapter
  • American Concrete Institute - Central Texas Chapter
  • The local Patrons Board

What careers are available with a CIM degree?

Graduates of the CIM program are well-prepared to succeed in the industry and are presented with job offers upon graduation.

As a CIM graduate, starting salaries average to above $65,000. Recent graduates have had multiple job offers.  Careers in CIM include, but are not limited to:

  • Concrete Project Manager
  • Operations / Production Manager
  • Project Superintendent
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Project Coordinator
  • Plant Manager
  • Project Estimator
  • Construction Project Management

Every year students have the opportunity to attend The World of Concrete in Las Vegas. During this time, students were able to take a break and visit the Hoover Dam!

CIM students travel to annual professional conferences across the U.S. During these trips, students are able to market with some of the industry's most important suppliers and experts all under one roof.

Students will be able to attend the following conferences:

  • The National Steering Committee
  • American Concrete Institute - San Antonio Chapter
  • American Concrete Institute - Central Texas Chapter
  • The local Patrons Board
