Dr. Meysam Khaleghian joined Texas State University in September 2018. He received his doctoral degree in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 2017 and served as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2018. He holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and University of Tehran.
Dr. Khaleghian has authored or co-authored over 20 Journal and conference papers in the field of Vehicle Dynamics and Control, Artificial Intelligence, State Estimation, and Experimental and Numerical Stress Analysis. He was the entrepreneurial lead of the team Virginia Tech that was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps grant for his works on Intelligent Tire concept in 2017.
