Some of the most important and scientifically interesting challenges to human health transcend academic disciplines and traditional boundaries of research inquiry. The Translational Health Research Initiative seeks to transcend existing disciplines and boundaries to create and apply new knowledge that will improve health outcomes for our students, community, and the world. Translational health research seeks ways to improve the health and wellness of humans in clinical, institutional, community, and public settings.
