International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition Application
This year Texas State University will be sending two (2) teams of students (a three-person graduate team and a four-person undergraduate team) to represent Texas State at the International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition, taking place April 6th-10th, 2022.
The students will travel with faculty advisors/coaches Allie Crawford and Carrie Crisp to Los Angeles, California.
Before you apply, be certain that you are able to travel with the team on those dates.

This is a two-part application process that has been designed to resemble how the IBESCC competition is run.
We are looking for students who:
- are interested in helping businesses be more ethical and sustainable in their practices
- can create an informative slide that is visually appealing
- can speak publicly
- can answer questions without a prepared answer

2 Part Application Process: Power Point and Audition/Interview
- Power Point Slide
Create a 1-page PowerPoint slide that addresses the question of why sustainable development is important (remember that this is in a business context).
In the interview portion, you will present a 90-second elevator style pitch over your slide; be prepared to answer questions over the presentation.
You will be contacted by either Allie Crawford or Carrie Crisp to schedule your interview.
Slides should be submitted with this completed form prior to your interview.
