Carter Arrington has been fortunate enough to make music with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Progger, Peter Rowan, Kirk Covington, David Grissom, Alejandro Escovedo, Malford Milligan, Bernard Purdie, and Col. Bruce Hampton, among others. He received a Jazz Performance degree from the University of Texas at Austin and participated heavily in the Austin music scene from 2006-2018 before relocating to the United Kingdom.

While residing in England, he did session work at well-known studios such as Abbey Road and RAK while working in the London and Brighton music scenes and performed at notable venues Ronnie Scott's and Pizza Express. He also recorded extensively with some of the UK’s finest musicians and vocalists for the Masterlink Sessions in Guildford.

2022 saw the release of “Gamelan Road”, an album featuring vicious displays of musicianship and fusion compositions with world-class drummer and multi-instrumentalist Kirk Covington. Aside from recording and playing live, Carter has been a music educator for many years, teaching privately and, most recently, wrote and recorded courses for Truefire and the Roth Academy.
