Almost 20 percent of Texas State undergraduates are enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts, and with good reason. A liberal arts degree prepares students for the future with skills like communication, problem-solving and cross-cultural awareness that apply to a range of careers. Degree programs include anthropology, english, geography, history, world languages & literature, philosophy, political science, psychology, international studies and sociology.

In a rapidly changing workplace, a liberal arts degree offers transferable skills for now and for things to come. Find out more about Texas State's liberal arts majors and how a liberal arts degree can open doors to exciting possibilities. The day will include a tour of campus (be sure to wear comfortable shoes), presentations on the importance of a liberal arts education, Education Abroad programs, career and internship opportunities, departmental tour, a panel discussion with Texas State students and a brief admissions overview.
