Institutional TOEFL Digital

Institutional TOEFL Test Digital

An institutional, digital TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test is offered once per semester (in April, July, and November) on the campus of Texas State University for all eligible and registered students. The results of this test are only accepted by Texas State University. The test fee is $55.00 and consists of the following test sections:

  • Listening comprehension (50 questions, 30-40 minutes)

  • Structure and written expression (grammar) (40 questions, 25 minutes)

  • Reading comprehension (50 questions, 55 minutes)

  • NO writing section

To register for the institutional TOEFL (Digital), sign up and pay the $55 test fee online here.

Please note that The Graduate College does not accept the TOEFL Digital results for initial admission consideration. For initial admission, please consider taking a TOEFL iBT or IELTS exam instead. If you are a student, you may also take the Institutional TOEFL during or after your first semester at TSIE.
