Undergraduate Advising

History Department Advising
Response to COVID-19

History Department advising, as well as the College of Liberal Arts Advising Center, will remain open and continue to serve students amid the COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to meet students’ academic advising needs, and to comply with Texas State's social distancing measures, our services now include virtual/phone advising and semester plan requests. We invite you to select the option that works best for you.

Existing Appointments

Existing appointments will be transferred to a Zoom or a phone meeting with the History Department advisor, Trace Etienne.  Please reach out to her via email at or by phone at 512.245.2142 to make arrangements.

Please be patient as we work to meet the needs of our many students.

Future Appointments

Future advising appointments with Trace Etienne should be scheduled through our existing Appointment Portal

Additional appointments with other Liberal Arts advisors can be scheduled through the College of Liberal Arts Advising Center website.

If you are planning to keep the same major and would like a class plan for summer and/or fall 2020 you can submit a Semester Plan Request through the College of Liberal Arts Advising Center.
