PACE Peer Mentoring

As a key service of the Personalized Academic and Career Exploration (PACE) Center, Peer Mentoring plays a crucial role in the first-year experience for incoming Texas State students. Peer Mentors are paired with University Seminar (US 1100) classes and work closely with US 1100 faculty. Each mentor serves as a role model, introducing students to university learning while creating a safe and welcoming transition to life as a Bobcat. Peer Mentors often arrange group outings to Common Experience events to connect with the Texas State community.
