Visa arrived today! Flying out Tues the 24th. Arriving 30hrs later, mid-day in Ha Noi (only two 4 hour layovers)...
Did I mention I'll be arriving smack dab in the middle of monsoon season in Ha Noi? Better buy a poncho and stay out of the street!

Visa approval has been granted! I have sent my paperwork to the Vietnamese Embassy and now I am waiting to receive my visa. My visa should arrive Friday or Saturday! Once it's in hand I will buy my plane ticket! Hope to leave for Hanoi on July 24, 2018. Yay!!

Having severe guitar withdrawal...had to put "Lester" in storage for the year!
