Lenora Porter

Alex began her career in communications working on political and philanthropic fundraising campaigns. Early in her communications career, Alex won a PRSA Phoenix Award for original content and design with her work as Corporate Communications Manager for retail design company MillerZell, where she positioned the company as a leader in shopper marketing research and seeded a 25% spike in inbound sales. Shortly after that, she took her first Directorship with Bill Lowe Gallery managing Public Relations, Sales & Marketing. In that role she led partnerships with luxury brands including Sotheby’s and Mandarin Oriental to drive qualified client acquisition initiatives and press.

Following her time with Bill Lowe Gallery, Alex served a two-year tenure leading Sponsorship & Partnership Development for The Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs at the City of Atlanta. In that post, Alex steered numerous initiatives and negotiated event sponsorships with Fortune 500 companies resulting in a 50% uptick in sponsorship revenue. Alex also managed the RFP process for Cultural Affairs’ creative services and led the design and implementation of a comprehensive brand redesign and 360 ad campaign for the Atlanta Jazz Festival, one of the city's largest cultural events. Presently, Delotch Davis is Manager of Marketing at the High Museum of Art, where she supports the reservoir of culture and commerce that the institution generates for the Atlanta metro area. In between her first Directorship and her most recent tour of duty, Alex also checked boxes in advertising, premium retail and experiential marketing. As Account Director with Jack Morton Worldwide, Delotch Davis blazed a trail on sponsorship negotiations and field marketing management (with teams of 15+), and brand asset allocation.

As a member of the executive team leading Public Relations at Bloomingdales’s, Delotch Davis augmented annual event budgets by $300K through value-added partnerships and drove more than $1.2M in incremental sales through events, exceeding sales goals by 23%. From her time in advertising, premium retail, the fine arts, culture programming, and community stewardship—Delotch Davis has learned how to use unique tools that help artists, brands, and institutions develop a distinctive and consistent tone of voice for modern times.
