These codices were hand-made by curandero Alfonso Garcia Téllez and the people of San Pablito Pahuatlán, Mexico in the late 1970s and 1980s. They describe Mesoamerican religious rites of the later 20th century and include hand-cut paper figures. They were acquired in 1993 by Professor F. Kent Reilly III in Mexico City, and are made available here for research purposes and to preserve the ancestral knowledge described within.
