The Roy F. Mitte Building was constructed in 2003. It houses the technology and physics departmental offices and research labs, including a high-tech clean room and microchip fabrication facility, where both undergraduate and graduate students gain hands-on experience that prepares them for jobs in the semiconductor and high-tech. The Ingram School of Engineering is also located there.
