The Outdoor Center allows students and other members of the Texas State community to fully enjoy the recreational opportunities available with the San Marcos River running through campus. For a low fee, you can rent:
•    camping equipment, including tents, sleeping bags and backpacks
•    canoes and kayaks
•    snorkel sets
•    tubes
•    life jackets and helmets
 
The Outdoor Center also handles reservations for University Camp and the Adventure Trip Program. Services are available to students, faculty, staff and members of the Alumni Association.
