The College of Education Building is home to the departments of Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Administration and Psychological Services. It is also home to The Education Institute, graduate Teacher Fellows Program, and LBJ Institute for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning. Texas State was founded as a teachers college in 1899, and more than a century later, it continues the tradition of producing only the highest quality educators
