Whether you’re here to reminisce about your days at Texas State or find the location of the Visitors Center to plan a first trip to our campus, the Texas State virtual tour brings the university to your desktop.
The Texas State University-San Marcos campus is comprised of 457 acres of well-tended grounds. The campus includes more than 225 main campus buildings, which date from 1903 — when Old Main opened its doors to the first 303 students — to 2009, when the expansion of the Student Recreation Center opened.
The classrooms, laboratories, recreational facilities, residence halls, and open spaces provide a stunning environment for learning, teaching, research and community connections. Texas State is home to more than 30,000 students, who choose from 101 bachelor’s, 88 master’s and nine doctoral degrees.
To start your tour, select Campus Tour Stops from the menu on the left for a complete list of campus buildings and landmarks. Or, you can select View Large Map from the menu and jump to one of 10 campus map zones.
Each page offers a photo and information about the building or place of interest, as well as an inset map showing the location in greater context. Continue along the tour by selecting Next or Previous below the map.
We hope you enjoy your virtual visit. To schedule an in-person campus tour, visit www.admissions.txstate.edu/visit/campus-tours.html.
