Campus Recreation
Home to the Student Recreation Center (SRC), located at the corner of Sessoms Drive and Academy Street, the Department of Campus Recreations provides sport, recreation, outdoor recreation, and leisure activities for Texas State students, faculty and staff as well as the local community.

Counseling Center

The Counseling Center provides confidential, individual counseling and education to students and consultation and training to staff and faculty of Texas State University.

Health Promotion Services

Health Promotion Services helps students succeed by enhancing the health of students through educational services on a variety of health issues including violence, nutrition, stress and time management, sexual health, alcohol, tobacco and other drug use. Services include educational materials, outreach presentations, special events and health consulting.

The Student Health Center is an accredited health facility providing healthcare to Texas State students. Appointments can be made online or by phone.

Student Health Insurance Plan

While many students are able to remain under coverage of parent's health insurance, all students enrolled at Texas State University are eligible and may participate in the plan.
