Review “Draft” Mission Statement handout
-Council suggested some minor corrections
Motion:
A motion was made to approve the General Education Mission Statement pending the suggested corrections. K. Peirce so moved. P. Pattison seconds the motion.
Motion passed unanimously.
Motion:
R. Brown asked for a recommendation from the Council to approve all the learning outcomes are they are entered in the system now or continue looking at the learning outcomes and giving the departments suggestions.
Discussion:
Some additional suggestions for changes were made
Amended Motion:
M. Keeffe made a motion to accept the learning outcome as they are and seek suggestions from the consultants from Armacost. The Council can make suggestions later and they can be addressed during the action plan review. P. Pattison seconds the motion.
Motion passed unanimously.
