• New members introduced
• Meetings are 2^nd and 4th Mondays (please block you calendars)
• Will send PPS 1.12 and THECB report from 2004 for later discussion
• SACS--Assessment
  • Previous model used by GEC 
    • Interview a small number of students just before they graduate to see if they are accomplishing what we thought—not cost effective
  • Met with Drs. Fleuriet and Wuest
    • At department level generate 2 learning outcomes from state expectations
• Discuss Addition to Humanities and Visual and Performing Arts
  • Phil 1320 Ethics and Society
    • This is in addition to Phil 1305 (already in the core)
    • Will hear from Dr. Luizzi and set up subcommittee next meeting
• Syllabi Review
  • Subcommittee appointed to review selected syllabi
  • Honor Code on syllabi
    • Honor Code expectations are instructor specific (Code should be posted in rooms and the link is on the syllabi)
    • Please be sure to fill out the paperwork and submit for violators
    • University Seminar has a video on cheating
