3. Report about Issues for Academic Year 2005-2006

a. 120-hour degree and Gen Ed

b. Review of Gen Ed and THECB Learning Outcomes

c. Review the Science component

d. Expectation that Brown will report a BGS degree proposal

e. Possible changes or improvements in Gen. Ed.

f. Other concerns of Gen. Ed. Council

i. Jeff Gordon’s concerns will await his visit to Council

ii. To what extent do students still graduate with Int. Perspective?

iii. Multicultural component may be an issue that GEC will address

iv. Is there a precedent for limiting time allotted for presentations
