Update on Learning Objectives
-Have had meetings with Communication Studies, Math and English
-Still need to meeting with Fine Arts, Eng/Philosophy, Social Science and Science—goal is to meet with all this spring
Geology course addition to Natural Science
-Do they have the resources per semester?
-Revisit NS criteria for next fall
Bachelor degree in University Studies
-Looking for degree for students who can’t graduate any other way
-Builds on minors with a beginning and end course that connects and reflects (3 minors)
-The Provost or Dr. Bourgeois can come and talk about the US degree
Many Majors are putting restraints on numbers of majors
We have received no feedback on the report submitted to the Coordinating Board
General Education at RRHEC
-No plans at this point to officer GE courses
