Meeting convened at 3:34 p.m.

Spring Initiatives:

-Review courses satisfying Science requirement
Subcommittee: Sue Biedermann, Steve Beebe, Robert Northcutt and Kyle Morris 

-Status of 120-degree
On hold  

-Review revisions of course objectives as edited by the departments
Should flow logically from what department is doing and blend with other assessment 

-International Perspective Report available for distribution in spring 

-BGS Degree proposal will be distributed in January 

-GEC consideration of changes to Texas State core
Should we look at our core and decide if we want to be more common experience or more distributional?  

Committee for looking at follow-up departmental materials from Coordinating Board Report:
R. Stein
S. Ogletee  

R. Brown will try to get Provost Moore to a Feb. Mtg.
