The TEAS V is administered by appointment only (see Testing Times below). Please be aware that computer technology is still imperfect, and occasionally technical difficulties may cause delays in any part of the process, especially related to computer-based tests. Therefore, we suggest that if your test has a deadline, that you take it sufficiently early to allow for scores to be received in time if such difficulties should occur. The Testing Center strives to ensure that tests are administered, scored, and reported accurately, securely, and in as timely a manner as possible, but we cannot be responsible for your deadlines.

TEAS V Pre-Nursing Assessment

A valid, current photo ID issued by the state of Texas (driver’s license or state ID) or the United States (passport, military ID, permanent resident card, etc.) is required.

Fees
Taking the TEAS V will involve payment of at least two fees:

• $60 administration fee, paid to Texas State University. We prefer payment by Mastercard or Visa, but also accept check, money order, or exact cash. This fee is paid at our service counter on the day of your test;
• $35 test fee, paid online to ATI Testing by credit card. ATI accepts: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. This fee can be paid online prior to coming to TREC by registering at www.atitesting.com, or it can be paid in our testing lab prior to starting your test;
• Also, if you want to release your TEAS V scores to other institutions besides the School of Nursing at Texas State University-San Marcos, you will pay an additional $25 fee for each additional institution. The fee for additional score reports will also be paid to ATI Testing in the same transaction as your test fee.
