TREC provides proctored exam service for students enrolled in correspondence/distance learning courses who require someone to administer and proctor their exam.  Exams to be proctored can be hand delivered, mailed, emailed, or faxed to the TREC.  There is a fee of $20 for Texas State students and a $40 fee for non-Texas State students.  Students using our proctoring services must request that their instructor complete this Proctoring Service Request Form or provide documentation from their institution.

If overnight/express delivery is required, we will send packages via Federal Express for an additional fee of $50.  Alternatively, the examinee may prepay for delivery, in which case we recommend using UPS.  A prepaid express shipment with any other courier will require a $10 fee.  If examinee uses a prepaid courier option, examinee is responsible for maintaining tracking numbers and other related information.

Students may make arrangements for proctored exams by contacting the TREC or stopping by our office located at Harris Underground behind the student recreation center.
