CLEP, SAT Subject Tests, and Dept Exams

Test registration and starting times for all examinations are as follows:

The test fee for CLEP examinations is $70 (check or credit card) with an additional $25 Texas State administration fee (check, money order, or exact cash only). The administration fee for non-Texas State students is $30. The test fee and the Texas State administration fee are two separate payments.

The SAT Subject Tests for Spanish, French, and German and the departmental exams for English 1310, 1320, and Health and Information Management 2360 are also administered during the above lab hours. The CIS 1323 test is administered at the CIS Dept. Inquire at the TREC office for CIS test registration and test schedule information. The test fee for these examinations is $95 (check, money order or exact cash only). Inquire at the TREC office for details.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

Examinees must sign up in person, with a photo ID, at the Testing, Research-Support, and Evaluation Center (TREC) located in Commons Hall, first floor.

Your payment receipt will serve as your admission ticket on the day of the test.
