Residential Construction Project Manager

for an established design/build remodeler/custom builder

Due to continuing growth, a job opening is available for a highly motivated individual with leadership and customer satisfaction skills. The job of a project manager is to achieve optimal results in scheduling to achieve a timely finish. We need someone who will supervise, direct and motivate the project team (sub-contractors).   

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable Project Management skills to include:

·         College degree or a 5+ year's experience as a Project Manager for a Residential Construction company

·         Have an ownership attitude, be willing and able to grow and become a candidate for partnership.

·         Excellence in every project; do whatever it takes to achieve optimum results

·         Friendly, yet firm demeanor

·         Manages the development of project plans in advance of project activity assuring effective execution by the Project Team.

·         Monitors progress to assure compliance with the predetermined execution plan.

·         Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing.

·         Participates in job site final walk-thru and manages the completion of all close-out documentation such as punch list items

·         Responsible for providing status reports to company General Manager

·         Pays attention to detail

·         Consumer oriented

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects

·         Knowledge of building codes and best construction practices.

·         Willing to always learn.
