Admission to the MBA Program with Technology Emphasis

Admission is designed to identify applicants who have the ability, interest, and maturity to manage the rigors of the graduate program. Applicants must:

  • Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university
  • Achieve a satisfactory admission index. The index is a combination of the applicant's Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score and grade-point average. A minimum GMAT score of 400 is required.

An acceptable admission index is based on one of two formulas:

  1. The applicant must achieve at least 1,000 points as a result of multiplying 200 times the GPA based on the last 60 semester hours of the first baccalaureate degree and adding the GMAT score.
  2. The applicant must achieve at least 950 points as a result of multiplying 200 times the overall GPA of the first baccalaureate degree and adding the GMAT score.
