*TECH 4390 (Internship) should be taken during the summer following the junior or senior year. TECH 4390 is ONLY offered during the summer session. Two sections of the class must be taken for full credit.

Notes:

1. Majors must take the following courses to fulfill the industrial technology core requirements (24 hours min): TECH 2344, 2370, 3364, 4380, 4390 (repeat for a total of six semester credit hours during summer sessions only); MGT 3303; and ENG 3303.
2. A minimum of nine writing intensive hours and a total of 39 advanced hours are required to graduate. An advanced course is one that is numbered above 3000 and below 5000.
3. Departmental requirements that also satisfy the general education core curriculum requirements for the following components: mathematics-MATH 1315; natural science-CHEM 1341/1141 and PHYS 1410; social science-ECO 2301; and ENG Literature-1 class from either ENG 2310, 2320, 2330, 2340, 2359, or 2360.
4. If two years of the same language are taken in high school, then enough hours to total the minimum 128 hours required for the degree will fulfill this requirement. In the absence of such high school language, two semesters of the same modern language must be taken at the college level.
5. Courses in the general specialization are four lower-level TECH electives (12 hours min to be selected with the assistance and approval of the department advisor); six upper-level TECH electives (18 hours min to be selected with the assistance and approval of the Department advisor); TECH 3310, 3322, 4345, 4357; GEO 3303; MGT 4330; CHEM 1342, 1142; PHYS 1420; MATH 1317 or 2417.
