Glenn
Gundy lettered four years as a Defensive End in football from 1974-1977,
and also earned three letters in Track and Field throwing the discus
from 1974-1976. He was a three-time All-Conference selection for football
and was named the Lone Star Conference Player of the Week in his first
game as a freshman against Angelo State. While attending Southwest Texas
State, Glenn was vice-president of Campus Unity for African-American
Students and Football Team Captain for the 1977 season. Glenn played
one season in 1977 for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football
League. From 1986-1996 Glenn was the owner and operator of four KFC
franchises. From 1992-1995 Glenn served as President of the KFC Minority
Franchise Association, was a National Representative for KFC Advertising
CO-OP, President of the Texas Franchise Operations Co-op, and Global
Director for P&M Resource Development. Glenn is the Past-President
of the Omega Psi Phi Chapter. He is a member of the Brazosport Rotary
Club, Vice-president of Young Adults for Christ, and Chair of the Houston
Minority Adopt-A-Family Christmas Project. Glenn currently lives in
London, England and is principle manager of procurement and materials
with Kellogg, Brown and Root. Glenn is married to LinDa Gundy and they
have two sons Jamahl and Jarrod Gundy.
