Should SWT ever decide to vote on their All-Bobcat hoops team, this 1969 graduate should get serious consideration. Mullen was a First Team All Lone Star Conference selection, as well as earning All-American Honorable Mention standing during the 1968 and 1969 seasons. His 1968 season might have been great, but nothing can compare to his team leading 17.9 points, 11.4 rebounds per contest, and hitting an outstanding 182-311 field goal attempts (.585) in 1969. Following graduation, Mullen entered the construction business as a n estimator. The San Marcos resident still keeps busy in SWT athletics. He has been a past president of the T-Association and Bobcat Club.
