Charles Hall adds to this year’s Hall of Honor list. In his five years at Southwest Texas State University, Hall was a three-year letter winner for the Bobcats in football, a four-year letter winner in track and a member of the basketball team for a year. He was the captain of the track team and went to the national meet all four years. Hall holds the conference record in both the javelin and pole vault. He placed in the top six seven different times in the javelin, pole vault and high jump.

Hall now resides in Port Lavaca, Texas, where he serves on the District II Water Commission and spends time as a coach and teacher. In 1977, Hall helped his son Randy set a National Federation Record. Under his guidance, his team won the Junior National AAU Meet and later represented the United States in Russia. He helped coach several other track youngsters to state meets and had the privilege of coaching the Texas A&M vaulters.
