Bookey Brymer, a three-year basketball letter winner from 1949-52, was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection. Brymer was an active member in the campus community serving as Senior Class President from 1951-52. Brymer was also a Homecoming Gaillardian as well as Baptist Student Union President in 1951. Brymer graduated from Naval Officer Candidate School in 1952 and eventually earned an MBA in International Finance from St. Louis University. He later became a Certified Public Accountant, and also worked as the Finance Director for the Monsanto Company located in Melbourne, Australia. Brymer has two children, Mark and Lee Anne, and two grandchildren.
