The 1963 graduate was another multi-program letterman while at SWT. The three-year letterman on the football team earned numerous honors during his time as a Bobcat. Back in 1962, Reese was selected first team All-Lone Star Conference, first team Dallas Morning News, as well as first team NAIA All-American as a tackle. The following year, he earned the above mentioned honors as well as adding Associated Press All-American Team honorable mention, and Williamson's All-American first team. Reese also lettered in track two-years as well. Today, he lives in Loredo, where he has been a teacher.
