Description: Confused about small business taxes? You won't want to miss this session! A representative from the Comptroller's Office will go over the following and answer any questions you have about: -Resale certificates -Accounting methods -Returns -Remittance filing & paying -Rules, Resources & Responsibilities Boxed lunches will be served, followed by a presentation from Lisa Bargsley, CPA. Lisa will address the most common questions and problems faced by small business owners, give specific examples of some of her more interesting cases (what happened, why & how it could have been prevented) and leave you with a simple, understandable strategy to mitigate your taxes as much as possible while not breaking any of the rules.
