sure to
clock in and out in order to get paid. If you forget to clock in
and out be sure to fill out a "Time Correction Log" sheet located in
the LAB at the front desk. Tutor
applications
are always being accepted: Please come by
Alkek Rm. 411 and speak to James Mathews or go to the SLAC home
website and download an application. The
following SLACers all have level three certification from the College
of Reading and Learning Association's. This is the highest level of
tutor certification attainable. |

Kudos to Bailey Gosda who won 2 scholarships through the McCoy College of Business! Kudos to Leona Martin who will be dancing in the Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble. She is also responsible for designing the costumes and is a member of the board! Kudos to Frank Sanchez, mathematics senior, and member of the Houston-Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Scholar program (HSLAMP). He will attend a Research Experiences for Undergraduates at Arizona State this summer with the help of the HSLAMP program. For the past two years he has been working on "Coprime Labeling" with supervisor Dr. Nathaniel Dean of the Mathematics Department. He also presented a research poster session at Tarleton State University. In June of 2007, Frank also attended a Research Experiences for Undergraduates at Texas Tech. Finally, Frank gave a presentation on Coprime Labeling at Sam Houston Universtiy in October of 2007! |
