You can pay by web using e-check at www.sbs.txstate.edu. You will need to have your NetID and password and the bank routing and account number listed on the bottom of your check.
NOTE: There is no longer an e-Payment charge on payments made by web.

If you have finanacial aid or scholarships, you must apply your aid to complete the registration process. Apply your aid at www.sbs.txstate.edu
Your aid is not automatically applied to your registration bill. You must take the necessary steps to apply your aid. If you do not apply your aid and complete the registration payment process, your classes will be dropped.
To make payment (apply your aid) by web, log onto View/Pay Registration
To make payment (apply your aid) in person, go to the Cashier windows on the first floor of the JC Kellam Building and obtain a receipt for your registration payment.
Only the aid that has been processed will be available for you to apply to your registration bill. Also, if you have aid in excess of your registration bill, only the aid sufficient to cover your registration charges will be reflected on your registration bill.
If your aid is not sufficient to cover the minimum due on your registration bill, you will be required to pay the difference. Any aid you apply to your registration bill will be reflected within twenty-four hours as a registration credit under My Disbursements at My Financial Aid.
Any aid in excess of your registration bill will be sent to you in the form of a balance check or direct deposited (sign up for direct deposit) into your checking account. It takes approximately five to seven working days to process and mail your balance funds to your local address (view/update your local address) or direct deposit them into your bank account after you apply your aid and complete the registration payment process. Also, no balance funds will be released to you until five days before the first day of classes.
Texas State offers an installment plan during the Fall and Spring semesters. Approximately 30% of your charges (shown on your bill as the "minimum due") must be paid before classes begin. To pay by installment, choose to pay the "minimum due" on your bill.
Your remaining balance plus any adjustments for schedule changes or room and board changes will be due in two additional installments during the semester. A $10.00 fee will be assessed for each installment payment made.
You can view and print your statement at View/Pay Registration and Installments If you have difficulty printing the bill or do not have access to a printer, contact the SBS office cashiers@txstate.edu or 512-245-2544 to request a paper bill. The bill will be mailed only to your address on file, so be sure to update your address at Registrar Address Change
Reminders are sent to your Texas State email account prior to early registration due date and installment due dates.

If you are new to Texas State, you will first need to activate a Texas State NetID and password in order to have a Texas State e-mail address.

As a courtesy, reminders are sent to your Texas State email account, however, it is the student's responsibility to make payment by the due dates.
Refunds will be credited against outstanding charges, if any. You can check your charges and credits on line at Transaction and Receipt Reprint.
If all charges are paid and your are due a refund, you can receive your refund:
Via EFT directly to your bank account (sign-up at EFT of Financial Aid and Refunds Sign-up)
Via check mailed to the local address you have on file with the Registrar's Office.
Note: If you withdrew (defined as dropping ALL your classes for the semester) and are eligible for a refund, the check will be mailed to your permanent address.
