Function:
The Design Review Committee reviews and refines the Campus Master Plan architectural design guidelines, the landscape design guidelines, the signage standards for the campus, and coordinates them with other aspects of the University's public image. The Committee meets at established points in the design process with consulting architects and engineers designing facilities and open spaces on campus, to ensure compatibility with the University's design standards. The Design Review Committee also coordinates with the ad hoc building committee established for each project, to ensure that as the design evolves the basic intentions of the design standards are met. All recommended projects will be approved by the President.
