Mission
The mission of the Office of Proposal Development is to facilitate, for Texas State faculty, administration and staff, the preparation of grant proposals to external funding agencies.

My responsibilities are different from, and augment, those of Sponsored Programs. If you check the sidebar and click on "services," you'll see the kinds of services OPD provides. The key to understanding how I can help you is the word "development": if you've begun to (or plan to) develop ideas that will result in a grant proposal, send me an e-mail (cpate@txstate.edu) and we'll begin talking and planning.
