Welcome to the Texas State Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), established to oversee and evaluate all aspects of Texas State's care and use of laboratory animals for research or instructional purposes.
ALL use of animals by Texas State University faculty, staff and students MUST be registered with and certified by the Texas State IACUC.
Animal Abuse
To report an incidence or allegation of animal abuse or neglect on Texas State University's facilities or by Texas State students, faculty, or staff, call in the following order

Animal Emergencies
To report emergencies involving animals on university properties, contact the University Police Department.
